Social Media Demon
Flawless skin tone, spotless skin, lucrative figure, beautiful hair, aesthetic outfit and a beautiful description make the best status in social media. Don't you agree? Don't we admire them who create these beautiful posts? We make them social media celebrities, don't we? What we don't focus on is "life isn’t a bed of roses" and it's same for them.
Behind a perfect virtual life they have an untold imperfect life they hide. They cry, they have faulty relationships, mistakes they can't forgive themselves for, and what not! But we admire them for how they appear on social media. But it's a lie. There's nothing called "a perfect life".
"Perfection" is a myth. A woman can have body hair, fat as well. There's nothing wrong with any of these. One can have pimples on their face. Just a pimple doesn’t mean you have to cancel plans. A man can have less facial or body hair. These are not taboos. This is life. Life is meant to be imperfect.
There's no need to imitate others' lives as no life is perfect. Instead, make a better life of your own. When you imitate others, you lose yourself. Appreciate how you are. Live in the world where you're meant to, not in the virtual world. Virtual world is only for our entertainment, don't make it your life. Breathe, give youself time, see how beautiful this world is. Take less pictures on trips and enjoy more. Stop checking in everywhere, stop urging for a thousand likes and talk to the people you live with, try to enjoy the atmosphere you're in.
